THE SOCIAL LUNCH MISSION

Getting older or moving to a new city at an older age doesn’t have to be lonely. We are here to help you connect!

The LCAP Social Lunch program, presented by Licking County Aging Partners is designed to help older adults stay connected to each other and to the community! Johnstown Lifestyle aims to bring people together to share a meal, socialize, learn new things through guest speakers, and to engage in fun activities aimed to brighten your day and foster relationships.

The lunch is free for ages 60+. People younger than 60 may attend and pay a $6 lunch fee.

Early registration for each lunch is appreciated so we know how many meals to plan for. A once-a-yearly intake assessment is required before attending your first lunch and can be complete when you call to register for your first lunch.

ABOUT LICKING COUNTY AGING PARTNERS

Licking County Aging Partners (LCAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has served Licking County since 1972. The organization helps adults age 60 and older maintain their independence, health, and quality of life, regardless of their ability to pay.

Through Meals on Wheels, in-home support, transportation, social services, countywide lunch locations, and additional resources, LCAP provides practical support for older adults and their families.

Their Center for Visual Improvement also offers basic eye care, low-vision aids, and support for individuals of all ages experiencing vision challenges.

Funded through local, state, and federal resources, grants, and community donations, LCAP is here to connect, support, and guide Licking County residents through the challenges of aging.
